It took me forever to find an event unrelated to the Japan incident, but this talks about how the driving license age will be upped to 18. This means all you kiddies that are under the age of 18 but are older than 16 are out of luck. I can't wait because you young drivers (everyone preceding as well) are terrible.

I believe the age should be raised to 18, but needs to be done with public surveys. At 16, not all drivers may have enough experience to handle driving a car and/or obey the laws.
